What CPU Should You Buy?
There is a lot of CPU’s to choose from maybe too much for most people to take in. So here what you need to know on choosing the right CPU for you.
The CPU or Processor is the brain of your computer. It does all the computations and tasks that makes a computer run and perform.
There are only 2 brands to choose from in the CPU market. Its either you go Intel or AMD.
Before we proceed on confusing ourselves with all the CPU’s to choose from. Let us make it easier and ask ourselves this 2 questions.
What will I use it for?
First off you need to ask yourself what is your computer mostly going to be used for? Are you an enthusiast who wants to game on the maximum setting possible? Perhaps a casual user who uses basics applications like MS Word and sometimes do a few matches on Dota 2, LoL, Counter-Strike and the likes.
What is my budget?
CPU’s can vary in prices greatly, let’s say an entry level CPU starts around Php2,000 and high end one costs a whopping Php20,000
Your budget will mostly determine what CPU you’ll end up with.
Now that you got those settled lets start choosing your CPU. If you’re not “in the know” you will be overwhelmed with the quantity and ridiculous naming schemes of Intel and AMD.
To keep this guide easy to understand and comprehend we will only choose from the current-ish line-up of CPU’s from both brands.
